NYBSA Fall 2020 Update

Greeting NYBSA Families,

We have certainly missed seeing you all this spring!

Thank you all for your cooperation in helping us quickly and safely curtail our spring baseball and softball seasons and for your continued patience as we have been closing out spring player registrations within the website. Credits have now been applied to all families that were registered in the spring, so they are there for you to apply to player registrations in either the upcoming Fall 2020 season or for the following Spring 2021 season. If you do not see the credit to your account or if you have any general questions about the credits, please contact the NYBSA Player Agent, Craig Goldstein: [email protected]

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that we are opening registration for the Fall 2020 Baseball and Softball season.  We have and will continue to work closely with Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation in managing our fields and the reopening process that includes the fall recreational season.

As we all adjust our daily lives to the “new normal”, there will be new rules and requirements applied to youth sports as well.  The health and safety of our NYBSA families is of course our top priority! We have plans prepared and ask for your continued support and flexibility as we continually adjust to to meet all national, state, county, local, and all other local health guidelines.  Additional information will be sent out to everyone as we get closer to player evaluations, which will include the current applicable rules and regulations that we will be in place to start the season.  It is imperative that all of these rules and regulations be followed for the health and well-being of our community. All updated information will be posted on our website, emailed to families, and discussed emphatically with all our coaches and players.

Although we are prepared to start the season, we are faced with the unfortunate reality that this season also has the potential to be shortened or cancelled.  Any refunds/credits for a shortened season will be evaluated at that time

Thank you for your continued support,
NYBSA Board
